these pictures were taken on a recent trip to capitol reef park in utah. i went with a group from school to stay in the field station and it was amazing. long hikes and possible heat stroke... but it was worth it.

for school this semester i am taking a nature photography class and we were given a challenge to take an image everyday either at sunrise or sunset. the idea is for me as a photography to train my eye to see the beautiful quality of light that is so often missed in those few moments. here is the first image... as you can see there was a storm and there wasn't much light to see.
